Apple Season:
August 15 - November 1
Bob and Etta's Orchard and Garden
The orchard in November
In December, 2005 we purchased the Apple Farm from Howard and Janice Hagen. Howard and Janice operated the orchard for 32 years. While most of our apples are 'modern' varieties we do have several 'heritage' varieties in the orchard. These prized trees provide a source of  buds used for grafting new trees, thus keeping the old varieties from disappearing. We have trees that produce apples which make fine clear jellies, some that make delicious apple sauce and others make tart pies and sweet treats. We have some that make great cider and wine and of course there are others that are just plain good eating, fresh off of the tree.
The apple season runs from August 15th through November 1st. We welcome one and all to drop by and visit during this time. Many local school groups visit the farm and we always look forward to that!
